This exhibition, "From the Academia to Impressionism: Masterpieces of the 19th Century European Paintings
of the Pérez Simón Collection", co-organized by the World Art Museum, Shanghai Art Museum, Hunan Provincial Museum, Guangdong Museum of Art and the Pérez Simón Foundation, will be on display from March 7th to June 8th, 2008. The one hundred masterpieces in the collection, including works by Turner, Monet, Renoir, Pissarro, and Munch cover the most popular movements and schools of the 19th century and are on display for the first time in China.
